FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You Asked, We Answered
WHY SHOULD I KEEP MY CARD NOW THAT MARIJUANA IS LEGAL RECREATIONALLY?
As a patient in the medical cannabis program, there are many benefits to keeping your medical card. Recreational users will be charged a 20% tax on every purchase. Recreational users also won't be allowed the same medical grade percentages of THC in their product as a card holder. Finally, most dispensaries will have systems that favor and cater to medical patients and place them as a priority over recreational users.
DO I QUALIFY FOR THE MEDICAL CANNABIS PROGRAM?
Below is a link to a list of qualifying conditions as stated by the NMDOH.
WHY DO I HAVE TO RECERTIFY MY CARD EVERY YEAR?
Just like any medication, medical cannabis cannot be prescribed for more than a year. Recertifying your card ensures that you will continue to have access to your medication. While the plastic card is good for up to three years, the referral is only good for a year. This is why we call our patients to remind them to renew their cards.

HOW DO I GET A UNIT INCREASE?
Easy! Simply talk to your provider. They will be able to submit a request for you after they give you a review of your biotrack. Remember, this is not a guaranteed unit increase, this is a request sent to the state. 420 Connect no longer does unit increases.
